Assistant professors Rahmat Beheshti and Xing Gao will present their work at The International Conference on Learning Representations and The Web Conference respectively
Department of Computer and Information Sciences assistant professors Rahmat Beheshti and Xing Gao have both had their research accepted by two major international computer science conferences.
Beheshti, the principal investigator of the healthy lAife research group, and Ph.D. candidate Raphael Poulain had their paper entitled “Graph Transformers on EHRs: Better Representation Improves Downstream Performance” accepted by the The Twelfth International Conference on Learning Representations (ICLR 2024), which will take place in Vienna, Austria from May 7–11.
Gao, the director of the X-Lab, along with co-authors Xiaofan Li, a Ph.D. student, and Syracuse University collaborators Jin Yang, Jiaqi Chen, and Yuzhe Tang, had their paper “Characterizing Ethereum Upgradable Smart Contracts and Their Security Implications” accepted by The Web Conference (WWW 2024), which will take place in Singapore from May 13–17
